Dr. Resnick is originally from Rhode Island.  She received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, MO prior to returning to New England to attend Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine.   After graduating, she completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship here at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists.  She practiced emergency medicine exclusively at a busy referral hospital in the greater Boston area for 5 years before moving back to her home state in 2018 to join OSVS full-time.  Dr. Resnick’s professional interests include diagnostic imaging, particularly ultrasound, as well as gastrointestinal diseases, coagulopathies, and feline medicine.

Outside of the hospital, she is an avid Patriots fan and enjoys skiing, eating seafood, and relaxing at the beautiful South County beaches.  She also loves spending time with her fiancé and former blood-donor cat, King.
