Courtney Mitterling grew up in Storrs, CT, and later moved to Boston, where she completed her undergraduate degree and a Master of Public Health. She recently graduated from Tufts University’s Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests are broad, but she is especially passionate about cardiology, as well as blending general practice with urgent care. Outside of veterinary medicine, Courtney lives in Providence with her husband, their spirited blue-crowned conure, Norman, and their beloved tripod flat-coated retriever, Poppy.
