Kat Schlaich, DVM, graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She spent several years in general practice in Las Vegas before discovering a strong passion for emergency medicine. Kat loves learning and is excited to be a part of a large multispecialty hospital where she can grow alongside a talented team and continue strengthening her patient care skills.
She recently made the move from Las Vegas—where it was 80 degrees when she left—so New England weather has been quite the change! In addition to her interests in emergency medicine and surgery, Kat is passionate about spay and neuter initiatives and shelter medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing and running.
