Dr. Kviker graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philly and completed a rotating internship in medicine/surgery at OSVS – she loved the collaborative environment and the learning opportunities so making the choice to stay came easy! Her primary interests are neurology, anatomical pathology, toxicity cases (especially mushrooms!), and behavioral medicine. She is a strong supporter of positive reinforcement training and fear-free medical practices; she loves to incorporate fear-free methods into the hectic nature of ER as much as possible. Marina shares her life with her husband, son, and two dogs – Lily, a perfect Belgian Malinois, and Elko, Smooth Collie, and together they hike nearly daily, foraging for edible mushrooms. She loves dabbling in dog sports such as agility and nose work.
