Dr. Meshaka earned her undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in marine science from Boston University, then completed her veterinary didactic training at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and her clinical year at the Louisiana State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She especially enjoys working in emergency medicine and loves caring for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. Dr. Meshaka shares her life with an old-man chihuahua named Bandit, and she spends most of her free time going on adventures with him.
