Dr. Nicholas Medeiros is originally from Massachusetts. He earned his undergraduate degree in veterinary science and veterinary technology from Becker College in Worcester, MA. He completed his pre-clinical training of his veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts. From there he continued his clinical training at Louisiana State University where he spent time working with their Intensive Care Unit/Emergency Service as well as with their Exotics Services. He then moved back to New England and completed a small animal emergency, and surgery internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists and stayed on as an emergency clinician. His professional interests include neurology, respiratory diseases as well as avian medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Medeiros enjoys spending time outdoors including hiking and scuba diving as well as spending time with his family. He has a matching pair of cats named Phantom and Opera.
